hi everyone, what a quiet weekend we had. Diya had a slight fever so we stayed at home for most of the weekend. We had our friends Roshan and Raveena come over from Iquique and spent saturday afternoon with them and sunday we were just relaxing at home.
Liverpool drew 0-0 with Aston Villa in what must have been the most boring game of the week. India lost to Bangladesh in the Cricket World Cup also so that wasn`t too good either.
Dev is doing fine, at least to me it seems like he is looking around more and is even smiling a bit now. We are still up most nights though but it has become quite normal for us now.
Finally i would like to congratulate dino and dimps on their engagement! May god bless both of them immensely and we`re looking forward to being there for the wedding now!

devesh bharat dadlani
hi everyone, the chathi was held on saturday 10th of march, 2007 and was performed by Mahraj Ravi Kewlani from Iquique. The ceremony took place at 7.30 p.m. sharp and lasted for about 45 minutes. We had invited quite a few of our friends home to be with us for this happy occassion and we were fortunate enough to be able to do the chathi in the presence of such good friends and good people. There were about 90 people who came to celebrate with us and i`d like to think that everyone really enjoyed themselves and Dev is lucky to have had such a good turnout to come and see him on his most important day to date. The party ended at almost midnight which is just about right for us...midnight is way past our bedtime now!
There are so many people we would like to thank for so much help and it would be impossible to list all of them but i would like to give special mention to Dipti Adnani, Nisha Dinani, Sheila Khemlani and Nisha Dadlani for all the work they put into making the ceremony a success.
Dev is doing fine now and was oblivious to the event! He slept through the entire ceremony and the cocktails afterwards but as soon as the last guest left by around 11.30 p.m. this little boy woke up and kept us up for the rest of the night! Proper Dadlani...sleeps all day and parties all night!
Diya thoroughly enjoyed herself though, she is just like her grandmother - making sure everyone was enjoying themselves, arranging the food (and slipping in a few samosas and empanadas for herself!) , tasting the mithai to make sure it was alright! Poor girl usually sleeps by 10 p.m. but on saturday she refused to go to bed and did not get into her bed till midnight! A new record for her.
